The Kindness Club: Week 11 Prompt
It’s week 11 of the Kindness Club.
Thanks to all of you who have been reading and joining in even if you are not posting or commenting.
Last week’s Kindness Club prompt was to visit or help someone who is sick.
When helping people who are sick it is always important to ask and help with what is needed by the sick person and their family. It is about their needs, not ours. Sometimes a visit is not what is best for them, but there is help you can still give them in other ways.

This week’s prompt is to pick up litter that you find on the floor as you are going about your day.
People litter without thinking about the impact on their surroundings and the environment. When we litter it has an effect on us as well because our world is dirtier. If everyone would pick up even one piece of litter from the floor, it would make a vast difference in the way our world looks. (If people stopped littering it would make an even bigger difference.)
So be kind and if you see any litter on the floor as you are walking by, pick it up. The world will be a prettier place for all of us.
Write a blog post about your experiences. New starting this week you can also choose to capture the spirit of the weekly prompt in a photograph ala Tara Cain’s Gallery at Sticky Fingers.
Come back on Sunday to link up your posts and pictures. (I will leave the McLinky up from Sunday till Sunday.)
If anyone who is not a blogger wants to join in please feel free to email me at and I will put your story or photo up on my blog.

Another great prompt. I have seen a huge improvement in littering over the last 20 years and you are right, everything looks so much better for it:) Jen.
Sigh, at last…. I tried so hard not to be gutted that I don’t know any sick people
I think I might be able to do this on both Blogs!
I always try to pick up litter if I see any. Such a simple thing, and it makes the world a much prettier place.
i am from india where people litter like the whole country is their private trashcan, and i live in the UAE where littering is fined by law
so its an unbelievable contrast, i am hoping that someday the true beauty of my country will shine, when all the clutter clears off.
