The Kindness Club: Week 4 Prompt
It’s week 4 of the Kindness Club. How fast time flies.
Thank you to all of you who have been reading and joining in even if you are not posting or commenting.
Last week’s Kindness Club prompt was to say please and thank you for everything. Like I wrote on Sunday, it’s not as easy as it sounds, but it is worth the effort. So keep on saying please and thank you.
This week’s prompt is to learn to say I’m sorry, and to say it right away when you realize you have wronged someone.

Saying I am sorry is a skill that needs to be learned. The more you do it the better you get at it. Hopefully, the better you get at saying please and thank you, the less you will have to say I am sorry.
There are people who say sorry for everything, even things that they are not responsible for or have no need to say sorry about.
There are people who know they are wrong but have a hard time saying I am sorry.
There are people who say they are sorry, but a long time after they should.
So go and take this week to learn to say I am sorry. Hopefully you will have a great week and no reason to say I am sorry. But if you do wrong someone, remember to say a swift and sincere sorry. Make it a heartfelt apology.
Then write a blog post about it and come back on Sunday to link up your please and thank you posts. (I will leave the McLinky up from Sunday till Sunday.)
If anyone who is not a blogger wants to join in please feel free to email me at and I will put your story up on my blog.

I am guilty of digging my heels in sometimes and just being stubborn for no good reason, this will be an interesting prompt:) Jen.
I have done that too. It is not always easy.
oh no! what happens if I don’t manage to upset, hurt or offend anyone by next Sunday? Fraid I’m too much of a clutz / thick skinned idiot for that to happen, sometimes I don’t even notice that I have offended someone until someone else points it out….
So, I might have to write about being aware of things I do that I need to apologize about and then apologizing eh?…
LOL-then tell about someone who should have said sorry to you.
Great post and so important. Sometimes pride really gets in the way of heartfelt apologies. I try to always say sorry to my kids if I scold them wrongly or just do something wrong in any way. I think it is important for them to know that parents are human too. We all need forgiveness. Thanks for this.
